# Al-Fātiḥah — The Opening
سُورَةُ الْفَاتِحَةِ
### A Short Reflection
Al-Fātiḥah is a prayer of praise, worship and guidance. It begins by turning the heart toward Allah, the Lord and Creator of all worlds. It reminds us that He alone deserves our worship, and it ends with a simple and profound request: to be guided to the straight path.
